Rate of Pay: £22.51- £29.67 per hour

Summary:

The Allocations and Verifications Officer will provide a high-quality, customer-focused and responsive housing allocations service to Lambeth tenants, residents and applicants seeking social housing, transfers and other housing opportunities.

Responsibilities:

• Provide an efficient, timely and customer-focused housing allocations service to tenants, residents and housing applicants.
• Allocate Council properties and make nominations to Housing Associations, Housing Co-operatives and other social housing providers.
• Process applications for transfers, social housing and relevant mobility schemes in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Comply with Council health and safety, equality, diversity, safeguarding and information governance requirements.

Qualifications:

• Educated to GCSE level or equivalent, including English and Mathematics.
• Training or qualification in housing allocations, verification, fraud awareness or related areas would be advantageous.

Essentials:

• Experience of working within a housing allocations, housing needs, homelessness, tenancy or related housing service.
• Experience of assessing and verifying applications against defined eligibility and qualification criteria.
• Experience of applying policies, procedures and legislative requirements to housing decisions.

• This role requires an Enhanced DBS
