Job Description:
We are working closely with Cardiff Capital Region to assist with the appointment of a Digital Executive, on a 6.5-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £150.55- £199.77 per day
Summary:
Cardiff Capital Region (CCR) is seeking a creative and digitally focused Digital Executive to support the delivery of its marketing, communications, and digital engagement strategy. Reporting to the Marketing & Communications Lead, the postholder will play a key role in enhancing CCR's digital presence, increasing stakeholder engagement, and promoting the region as a leading destination for investment, innovation, and economic growth.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and schedule content across CCR's social media channels, ensuring consistency of messaging and brand identity.
- Develop and maintain content calendars aligned with organisational priorities, campaigns, and project milestones.
- Ensure website content remains accurate, accessible, user-focused, and aligned with organisational objectives.
- Lead the development and implementation of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC) strategies.
- Produce regular reports and dashboards that provide insights into audience engagement, campaign effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
Qualifications:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Studies, Digital Media, IT, or a related discipline.
Essentials:
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and communication strategies.
- Knowledge of SEO, PPC, social media strategy, and digital engagement techniques.
- Experience managing and delivering content across multiple social media platforms.
- Experience creating engaging digital content and supporting communication campaigns.
- Experience using analytics tools to measure and report campaign performance.
