Project Officer - Admin & Clerical
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Conway to assist with the appointment of a Project Officer - Admin & Clerical, on a 7 month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £14.82 - £18.86 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Inclusive Conwy team to help make our practices and policies inclusive and to support delivery of the Inclusive Conwy Plan.
- To build trust, mutual respect and understanding with staff and local communities, so there is regular engagement, listening and communication.
- Undertake research - both across the organisation and externally - to identify good practice and areas of improvement that will contribute to delivery of the Inclusive Conwy Plan.
- Work to promote inclusivity, equality, and the importance of lived experience across all activities.
- Undertake training and shadowing as part of a developmental opportunity as part of the Inclusive Conwy team.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Educated to Level 5 of the Qualification Framework within a relevant discipline, or equivalent equality and inclusion working or lived experience
- Commitment to work towards progression related training.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent people skills, with an ability to build trust and positive relationships with a range of people both inside and outside the organisation.
- An understanding of engaging people and getting them involved in activities or decisions that affect them.
- Ability to capture and process information gathered through different research methods including effective written skills.
- Good communication skills to share information and research with a range of audiences.
- Creative and collaborative approach to teamwork.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection.
- Ability to reflect on information gathered and contribute to workplace improvements.
- IT skills to support the carrying out of research and engagement
