We are working closely with a local authority in Slough to assist with the appointment of a Safeguarding Partnership Adults Lead, on a 3-months contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £302.05- £408.08 per day
Summary:
The Safeguarding Partnership Adults Lead will provide expert professional leadership, specialist advice and strategic support to safeguarding partners to strengthen and improve multi-agency arrangements for safeguarding adults. Working as part of a small and dynamic Safeguarding Partnership Team, the postholder will support the Independent Chair, Strategic Lead and partner agencies to deliver shared safeguarding priorities. The role will promote effective collaboration between Adult Services, Children's Social Care, health services, police, probation, voluntary and community organisations and other relevant agencies.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialist safeguarding adults expertise, advice and guidance to safeguarding partners and relevant agencies.
- Support practitioners, managers and senior leaders in responding to complex safeguarding challenges.
- Lead and coordinate statutory safeguarding reviews, including Safeguarding Adult Reviews, within a complex multi-disciplinary environment.
- Ensure learning from local and national reviews is translated into improvements in safeguarding policy and practice.
Qualifications:
- Degree, postgraduate qualification or equivalent professional qualification in a relevant field.
- A minimum of five years' relevant experience in a related safeguarding or professional practice area.
Essentials:
- Extensive professional experience of working directly in safeguarding adults
- Experience of providing specialist safeguarding advice, guidance and support to practitioners and other professionals.
- Experience of developing and delivering safeguarding training or multi-agency learning.
