Benefits Assessment Officer
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Milton Keynes to assist with the appointment of a Benefits Assessment Officer, on a 3 month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.
Rate Of Pay:£25 per hour Umbrella over a 37 hour week.

Job Information:
As a Benefits Assessment Officer, you will play a crucial role in evaluating and determining eligibility for various benefits within the organisation. Your responsibilities will involve assessing housing benefit and council tax rebate assessments, ensuring compliance with policies and legal regulations, and maintaining accurate records.
You will need:
- Basic DBS and BPSS required
- Relevant experience in Housing Benefit and Council Tax rebate assessment.
- Customer service experience with a focus on understanding and meeting customer needs.
- Strong numerical and financial calculation skills.
- Proficiency in using Capita Academy.
