SEND Case Officer - PFA
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a local authority in Waltham Forest to assist with the appointment of a SEND Case Officer, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion.

Rate of Pay: £250-275 per day
You should have secure knowledge of PFA in SEND education
Responsibilities:
- Supporting officers with complex cases of children and young people (CYP) with special educational needs and disability (SEND) and ensuring the statutory assessment process and annual review process from 0 to 25 is undertaken within the statutory deadlines
- Ensuring resources are allocated to CYP with EHC Plans in accordance with guidelines including a personal budget where appropriate
- Ensuring all transitions between education and life phases are well managed and seamless
- Providing/arranging conciliation or mediation where conflict exists
- Supporting in the management and representation of Special Educational Needs Tribunals as required
- Quality assuring EHCPs
- Deputising for the SEND Team Manager as required

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an Enhanced DBS.
