Executive Assistant
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Met Office to assist with the appointment of a Executive Assistant, on a 9-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.55 - £15.76 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Develop an understanding of your directors priorities to support proactive, independent, and flexible management of complex diaries including meetings, visits, events and travel. You will ensure time is used efficiently and commitments are, where possible, arranged to allow respite between demanding engagements.
- Arrange UK and International travel including rail, transfers, flights, hotels and visas whilst adhering to Met Office Policy, Budget and Net Zero targets and process expenses on their return.
- Support meetings and events by collaborating internally and externally to ensure the meeting/event runs seamlessly; sourcing venues, catering, accommodation, and any other resources required.
- Proactively support your director with inbox management, bringing matters of urgency to their attention and assume full responsibility in their absence. You will sort and prioritise and action on their behalf where possible.
- Develop knowledge of key stakeholders and build positive relationships to support effective engagement and identify when appropriate to manage, drive, lead, influence, collaborate or support. You will maintain and ensure contact details are kept up to date.
Qualifications:
- Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in a timely manner to meet tight deadlines.
- A confident and agile communication style both written and verbal is essential.
- Competency in Outlook and Office 365 is essential.
