ASW Asst Team Manager/Practice Manager
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Southwark to assist with the appointment of a ASW Asst Team Manager/Practice Manager, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £29.38 - £38.50 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the teams achievement of performance indicators, targets and standards. To raise performance and quality across the service, maintaining a positive, challenging performance management culture.
- To contribute to the development of practice, procedures and policy and specifically the professional development of the Team. To facilitate individual support and oversee career development for the team, and to lead on issues of conduct and capability.
- To be accountable for the practice of others and provide effective professional leadership, supervision, mentoring and coaching to enhance the quality of practice, undertake performance appraisals and investigate complaints.
- Ensure that safeguarding is a key priority and that effective system and processes are in place for the investigation of all allegations and incidents of reported abuse.
- To ensure the team recognises diversity and applies anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive principles. To ensure that challenge is appropriately made when discrimination is in evidence.
Qualifications:
- To hold a recognised Occupational Therapy qualification and registered with the Health Professionals Council.
- Knowledge of the legislation governing the function of Adult Social Care including consequent statutory duties and application.
- Experience of establishing effective working relationships with other professionals, including representatives from partner agencies.
