CYPL Coordinator

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in West Sussex to assist with the appointment of a CYPL Coordinator, on a 7-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £13.02 - £15.93 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Dealing effectively with enquiries from different channels, for example members of the public, customers, service users, internal departments, and professionals from other agencies.
  • Gathering and accurately recording highly sensitive and confidential data on the designated databases, collating key information relating to Childrens Social Care and partner agencies.
  • Providing guidance and advice to all enquiries in a timely manner. Taking ownership of enquiries and providing feedback on progress and outcomes ensuring contacts are escalated if appropriate.
  • Demonstrating a clear understanding of the meaning of safeguarding and escalations where appropriate, as defined in relevant policy guidance.
  • Managing appropriate contacts quickly and efficiently enabling a professional decision to be made by the relevant workers within set timescales.

Qualifications:

  • GCSE English and Maths, or equivalent qualification or experience operating at this level of literacy and numeracy.
  • A recognised qualification in office skills or administration, or a business related subject at level 2 or 3 of the national qualifications framework, or have acquired equivalent experience within the workplace.
  • Experience of providing business support, advice and/or guidance to others.
