Housing Liaison Officer

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Haringey to assist with the appointment of a Housing Liaison Officer, on a 5-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £17.00 - £21.18 per hour

Summary:

The Housing Liaison Officer will be responsible for delivering a high-quality tenancy management service, supporting tenants, addressing anti-social behavior, and ensuring neighborhoods remain clean and safe. The role involves working closely with residents, partner agencies, and internal teams to enhance tenancy sustainment and resident satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Support residents in tenancy-related matters, including new tenancies and changes.
  • Respond to and manage incidents of anti-social behavior, harassment, and neighbor disputes.
  • Carry out tenancy checks, serve notices, and support tenancy enforcement actions.
  • Assist in managing and re-letting void properties through pre-termination visits and sign-ups.
  • Provide general housing advice, supporting new tenants in settling into their homes.
  • Conduct regular visits to vulnerable residents, ensuring support needs are met.
  • Engage with community groups, resident associations, and external agencies.

Qualification:

  • Housing qualification and evidence of continued professional development.
  • A high standard of literacy and numeracy
  • Knowledge and awareness of safeguarding issues

  • You should have right to work in U.K
  • This role requires an enhanced DBS
