Digital Communications Officer
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Tower Hamlets to assist with the appointment of a Digital Communications Officer, on a 9-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £24.58 - £32.25 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Develop a social media strategy for the Mayor, and maintain and create content for Mayor of Tower Hamlets social media channels in order to implement that strategy.
- Advise Mayor and Cabinet on all relevant social media matter
- Use social media channels to promote the message and activities of the Mayor of Tower Hamlets
- Develop, maintain and edit the mayoral blog.
- Work with stakeholders to optimise social media presence
Qualifications:
- They should have at least three years experience in digital communications, and a deep understanding of what makes audiences tick.
- Proficiency in Photoshop and other Adobe applications such as Premier
- Competency in video editing
