Quality and Contracts Manager

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Nottinghamshire to assist with the appointment of a Quality and Contracts Manager, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £19.97 - £25.95 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • To manage a portfolio of contracts, service agreements and other formal arrangements between the Department and service providers and have responsibility for the quality and efficiency of services commissioned under these arrangements.
  • To identify, analyse and manage risks associated with the service delivery and contract performance; recommending actions or contractual sanction where appropriate.
  • To work to identify opportunities for improvements and the achievement and maintenance of high standards of quality and efficiency in the services commissioned Nottinghamshire County Council and Adult Social Care, Health and Public Protection Department
  • To develop and maintain systems for the monitoring, evaluation and review of the quality and performance of services. To manage the development and delivery of management information reports.
  • To develop and maintain systems for evaluation and organisation of management information to undertake effective contract management.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Legislation relating to social care contracting and Legislation/national objectives and priorities for Adult Social Care and the NHS
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills
  • Experience of purchasing, contract managing and evaluation of social care services
  • Experience of working in an inter-agency setting
