Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Greenwich to assist with the appointment of a Training Manager, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £279.90 - £349.00 per day
Summary:
The Royal Borough of Greenwich is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Training Manager to support the ongoing transformation within the Repairs and Investment department. This role involves developing and delivering impactful training solutions that empower staff, improve service delivery, and embed new systems and processes. As a key contributor to the departments digital and service improvement goals, you will work closely with project teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to create a dynamic, resident-focused service culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation and delivery of training materials to support transformation projects within the Repairs and Investment department.
- Develop and deliver training for new compliance software, digital platforms, and service processes.
- Promote a user-centred approach to training, aligning with various learning styles and departmental needs.
- Manage and coach junior training team members, acting as a strategic advisor on training direction and effectiveness.
- Evaluate training programmes using established monitoring and feedback frameworks, and adjust content and delivery as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Professional qualification or degree in a relevant field, or significant experience in training, communication, and programme management.
