Performance & Data Analysist

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Bexley to assist with the appointment of a Performance & Data Analysist, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £18.25 - £23.28 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • To analyse performance management information, develop and monitor performance targets and support service areas in using data to drive improvement, contributing proposals for remedial action where required.
  • To collate, analyse, monitor and challenge out turns and trends from performance management information to enable emerging issues to be brought to the attention of colleagues and advise service managers of implications to enable action to be taken to improve service delivery.
  • To liaise with London Councils, Central Government, Local Authorities and other relevant organisations, including regulators, to benchmark Bexleys performance and inform service improvement.
  • To ensure data contributes towards the Council meeting its statutory duties, particularly in relation to Equalities, regulators and statistical returns.
  • To develop policies, systems and procedures on data handling and information sharing to ensure high quality data and outcomes and improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Councils services.

Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
  • Knowledge and understanding of the role and functions of local government.
