HR Advisor

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in West Sussex to assist with the appointment of an HR Advisor, on a 3-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £17.09 - £21.20 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of comprehensive HR generalist advice and support to managers and employees, and timely and proactive management of employee relations casework, escalating more complex issues to senior colleagues or specialist teams as appropriate. 
  • Supports HR Senior Business Partners and HR Business Partners with the day-today operational delivery of People Plans and activities, as defined and led by specialist HR teams and senior colleagues.
  • Promote awareness and application of HR policies and procedures within the supported service area.
  • Supports directorates with resourcing requirements/interviews etc.

Qualifications:

  • Working towards Level 5 in CIPD or equivalent qualification or experience.
  • Experience of providing comprehensive HR generalist advice and support to managers on HR policies, practices and processes to managers and responding to employee enquiries

  • You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
