We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hertford to assist with the appointment of a Markets Manager, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £200.00 - £250.00 per day

Hours Per Week: 21.00

Responsibilities:

• To grow the Hertford and Ware retail, farmers and specialist markets
• To promote the market branding and identity
• Day to day liaison with existing traders and identifying potential new traders
• To assist with refreshing the Councils markets and street trading policy
• To assist with producing the Councils markets business plan
• To help grow town centre retail and specialist markets in East Herts

Qualification:

• A good standard of general education, to at least A Level or equivalent
• Experience of working with town centre markets (either as a private operator or on behalf of a local authority)

Please note:

• You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires an enhanced DBS
