Summary:

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our waiting staff team. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in providing high-quality service to guests across North Yorkshire Council's dining establishments, ensuring an exceptional dining experience for all patrons.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders from guests and communicate them to the kitchen and bar staff promptly.
• Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely manner while adhering to service standards.
• Ensure the cleanliness and organization of dining areas, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
• Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing assistance and information as needed.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Food safety and hygiene certification is desirable but not mandatory.
