Administration Officer - Highways, Transport and Planning
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Chichester to assist with the appointment of an Administration Officer - Highways, Transport and Planning, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £12.59 - £15.40 per hour
Responsibilities:
- Delivers timely and efficient specialist administrative support to a team or across teams with an awareness of team requirements and priorities.
- Communicates with and develops good working relationships with relevant managers and colleagues in order to deliver an effective service.
- Prioritises own day to day work, working with colleagues to deliver objectives and a customer focussed service.
- Manages incoming email boxes and updates websites.
- Produces complex, accurate, factually and grammatically correct documentation, correspondence and reports.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 4 GCSEs with A-C / 4-9 passes including Maths and English, or equivalent qualification or experience demonstrating that level of numeracy and literacy.
- Relevant technical knowledge of procedures and practices associated with delivering an administrative service.
- Knowledge of relevant statutory requirements and processes.
- Experience of working in an office environment.
- Strong knowledge and technical skills in the use of major computerised
systems (for example, SAP or Mosaic).
