Telecare Coordinator

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Telecare Coordinator, on a 2-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £25.00 - £31.21 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and guidance to multi-disciplinary teams in order to support staff training and development across health and social services in LB Hillingdon and to increase quality Telecare referrals.
  • Lead on delivering training for staff to prescribe Telecare following an agreed training course. To organise and provide appropriate training to staff as well as promote Telecare at public events to increase awareness amongst members of the public.
  • Collate the relevant Telecare data and provide monthly reports with a full annual report and ad-hoc reports as required.
  • To lead on the evaluation of TeleCareLine service within LB Hillingdon on a periodic basis.
  • Work with Corporate Communications Team to ensure ongoing publicity of the Telecare service through up-to-date leaflets, posters, targeted publicity campaigns, press releases, day-in-the-life of stories, case studies internal and external website input, etc

Qualifications:

  • Experience of working in a Health or Social Care setting
  • Understanding the needs of vulnerable adults across all Health & Social Care Groups
  • A comprehensive knowledge of assistive technology and the ability to undertake assessment to identify individual need an appropriate service provision
  • Knowledge of Government initiatives and local policies relating to assistive technology and telecare services.
