Team Manager
Job Description:
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Herefordshire to assist with the appointment of a Team Manager, on a 3.5-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: £28.30 - £37.80 per hour
Summary:
As a Team Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring services are person-centred, strength-based, and effectively manage risk. You will also support the Councils wider vision of helping adults live independently, stay connected to their communities, and lead fulfilling lives.
Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day leadership and support to a locality team delivering adult social care services.
- Champion a strength-based, person-centred approach to practice and ensure it is embedded in all decision-making.
- Influence and drive cultural and operational change across the adult social care system.
- Develop and implement service strategies that promote independence, safeguard wellbeing, and ensure compliance with legislation.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams, partner agencies, and communities to co-produce and deliver high-quality, value-for-money services.
Essential Requirements:
- Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.
- Demonstrable experience in statutory adult social work, including working with complex cases.
- Previous experience in a leadership or management role, or readiness to step into management based on extensive frontline practice.
- Proven ability to develop and lead teams, manage change, and implement innovative service delivery approaches.
- Strong knowledge of legislation, safeguarding procedures, and relevant social care policies.

- This role requires a Basic DBS
