Customer Service Advisor

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Hillingdon to assist with the appointment of a Customer Service Advisor, on a 1-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £14.84 - £18.30 per Hour

Responsibilities:

  • Act as first point of contact for incoming queries to the Council either in person at the reception desk, operating the switchboard.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service, efficiently and in line with Hillingdon's vision and values
  • To demonstrate understanding of the Councils Customer Care Standards and ensure that these standards are met in order to deliver the Council vision of putting our residents first.
  • Resolve customer queries received by telephone or through e-transactions promptly and accurately, using established procedures or readily available guidance
  • Assist the team to meet the Councils customer service standards. Always use the appropriate greeting, including name, and ensure that a positive image of Hillingdon council is provided.

Qualifications:

  • Good standard of written and oral English
  • Proving experience of working in a busy pressurised environment of a call or contact centre of at least a year.
  • Strong navigation and keyboard skills. Knowledge of IT software and systems - including Word and Excel
