Executive Support Manager

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Lewisham to assist with the appointment of an Executive Support Manager, on a 6-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £24.35- £31.16 per hour

Summary:

The Executive Support Manager will provide high-level, professional, and proactive executive assistance to the Executive Director of Adult Social Care & Health. This role is pivotal in ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the Directorate by offering modern administrative support, managing a small executive support team, and acting as a trusted adviser to senior leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient, high-quality executive support to the Executive Director of Adult Social Care & Health
  • Act as a trusted partner and adviser, ensuring the Executive Director is fully briefed on key issues, operational challenges, and strategic priorities.
  • Support the Executive Director in delivering policy objectives and driving Directorate and corporate priorities.
  • Oversee and coordinate Directorate-level activity to ensure efficient, user-friendly processes aligned with organisational standards.
  • Contribute to the Directorates readiness for external inspections (e.g., CQC), supporting the collation and organisation of evidence and documentation.

Essentials:

  • Significant experience in providing executive-level support within a complex, fast-paced organisation.
  • Proven experience in managing and motivating staff to deliver high-quality administrative support.
  • Familiarity with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) inspection process.
