Electrical Team Client Representative – Access Control

 Job Description:

We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Westminster to assist with the appointment of an Electrical Team Client Representative – Access Control, on a 6.5-month contract, highly likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £25.19 - £33.22 per hour

Summary:

The Electrical Team Client Representative (Access Control) will support the management and monitoring of electrical and access control contracts across a large residential property portfolio. The role focuses on contractor performance, compliance, repairs and maintenance, resident engagement, and ensuring high-quality service delivery across access control, CCTV, warden call, and related electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the management of contractors delivering repairs, maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
  • Monitor contractor performance against service standards and KPIs.
  • Conduct site inspections to ensure works are completed to required standards.
  • Produce reports on works, variations, inspections, payments, and contract performance.
  • Investigate service failures and coordinate corrective actions.

Qualifications:

  • Electrical Engineering qualification (Degree, HNC/HND, NVQ, or equivalent) or
  • Access Control Engineering qualification.

Essentials:

  • Experience in residential repairs and maintenance services.
  • Experience managing or monitoring access control, CCTV, electrical, or related M&E contracts.
  • Strong contract management and contractor performance monitoring experience.
  • Experience handling resident complaints and service enquiries.
  • Ability to carry out site inspections and assess quality of work.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
