Rate of Pay: £15.38 - £21.10 per hour

Summary:

Southwark Council is seeking a reliable Cleaning Operative to carry out estate cleaning and maintenance tasks, ensuring communal areas are clean, safe, tidy and presentable.

Responsibilities:

• Clean communal areas across housing estates.
• Remove waste and dispose of rubbish appropriately.
• Maintain clean, tidy and presentable communal spaces.
• Carry out general estate cleaning and basic maintenance tasks.
• Follow health and safety procedures and report any issues as required.

Requirements:

• Experience in cleaning or general manual labour is desirable.
• Good attention to detail and a practical approach to work.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to undertake physically demanding tasks.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.
