We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Thurrock to assist with the appointment of a Personal Advisor, on a 3-month contract, likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.

Rate of Pay: £12.74 - £16.16 per hour

Responsibilities:

• Provide ongoing advice, support, and guidance to care leavers.
• Lead on the formulation, review, and implementation of Pathway Plans.
• Work directly with young people to help them overcome challenges in their transition to independence.
• Support access to education, training, employment, housing, and financial advice.
• Act as a corporate parent, ensuring care leavers are supported to achieve positive life outcomes.

Requirements:

• Experience working with young people/adults in a supportive role.
• Understanding of the role of a corporate parent and the challenges faced by care leavers.
• Ability to provide sensitive and effective direct work to young people.
• Strong analytical and organisational skills.
• Full UK driving licence and ability to drive.

• You should have right to work in U.K
• This role requires an Enhanced DBS
