Financial Planning & Analyst

  • Role to report to CFO
  • Accountable for reviewing month end and year end results reported by Finance & payroll. Analysis of budget to actuals.

Requirements :

  • CA (SA) with at least 5 years post articles experience.
  • Experience running a finance function for large and complex organisations
  • At least 5 years experience in financial management and financial analysis
  • A hands-on finance expert and leader that gets involved in the detail.
  • Capable of working independently
  • Demonstrated experience of providing administrative and/or financial oversight to the preparation of large and complex work plans and budgets.
  • Exceptional written communication and presentation skills in English.
  • Demonstrated management and leadership experience fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Experience leading large teams and excellent organisational, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Accounting Software and systems.

Advantageous experience, skills and qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience in international development, preferably with experience with USAID-funded or PEPFAR programmes of similar or greater complexity.
  • Management experience of grants, awards and contracts, US Government or similar large international donors.
  • Familiarity with US government grant policy, procedures, compliance, and reporting requirements.
