Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Financial Advisor specializing in long-term insurance to join our team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert financial advice and guidance to clients, focusing on long-term insurance products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive financial needs analysis to understand clients' goals and objectives.
  • Develop personalized financial plans and recommend suitable long-term insurance products based on client needs.
  • Educate clients on the benefits and features of various insurance options, including life insurance, disability cover, and retirement annuities.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and proactive service.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and product changes to ensure accurate and informed client advice.
  • Collaborate with other team members and departments to deliver integrated financial solutions.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Financial Advisor or similar role, with a focus on long-term insurance products.
  • In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services, particularly life insurance, disability cover, and retirement planning.
  • Strong understanding of financial planning principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Relevant professional qualifications such as:
    • Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation preferred.
    • Registered Financial Services Provider (FSP) license in accordance with the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) in South Africa.
    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field.
