Diesel Technician

Boggs Recruiting is the recruiting partner to with a Service Provider in Saginaw who is seeking team-orientated Diesel Mechanic to work in their Shop. Their Mechanics work on all makes and models doing both PM and Service work

Responsibilities:

• In a timely effective manner perform routine maintenance, service and repair of all tractors and trailers.
• Provide customers with preventative maintenance solution.
• Repair repairs as required on with a focus on electrical, suspension and steering, brakes etc.
• Perform inspections
• Keep accurate records and repairs and maintenance performed
• Adhere to all safety procedures and guidelines

Diesel Technician requirements:

• Past experience completing preventative maintenance for tractors and trailers.
• Previous welding experience
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Nice to have:

Michigan state certifications for Electrical, Suspension and Steering, Brake and Drive Train or ability/desire to complete certifications
