About the Role:
This role is ideal for an engineer with 3-5 years, structural experience and a strong grounding in analysis, modelling, and design. You will contribute to both conventional and proprietary building systems, providing safe, efficient, and technically sound solutions across a wide range of projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform structural analysis and design using FEM techniques and specialised engineering software.

Prepare, verify, and present structural calculations, reports, and design specifications.

Collaborate with architects, engineers, draughtsmen, and construction teams to ensure structural integrity and design accuracy.

Conduct structural assessments and site inspections during design and construction phases.

Ensure all designs comply with relevant SANS codes, building regulations, and project standards.

Support construction teams by resolving design queries and proposing practical, innovative engineering solutions.
Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's in Civil or Structural Engineering (required).

3-5 years of experience in structural design and analysis.

Proficiency in FEM tools such as Autodesk Robot, ETABS, Prokon, or similar.

Strong understanding of SANS requirements and local construction methods.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative team.

Strong analytical mindset, with close attention to detail.

Progress toward ECSA registration will be advantageous.
