Key Competencies:

  • Proficiency in MS Office and strong command of MS SQL.
  • Hands-on experience with intermediate to advanced programming.
  • In-depth knowledge of Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) components as outlined in the Prudential Standards (experience with cell captives is a plus).
  • Familiarity with non-life insurance processes (advantageous).
  • Understanding of key legislation, including the Insurance Act, Prudential Standards, IFRS 4, and IFRS 17.
  • Advanced skills in applying triangulation methods and large-loss reserving techniques for IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) valuations.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
  • Completion of at least six CT actuarial exams (or equivalent certifications).
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in an actuarial role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monthly capital adequacy calculations for the organization and its clients.
  • Contribute to IFRS 17 modeling, focusing on the LRC (Liability for Remaining Coverage) and LIC (Liability for Incurred Claims).
  • Lead and support capital projection activities as part of the ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) process.
  • Drive initiatives aimed at optimizing capital strategies for the company and its clients.
  • Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual regulatory reports.
