About the job Senior Actuarial Analyst (Non-Life)
Key Competencies:
- Proficiency in MS Office and strong command of MS SQL.
- Hands-on experience with intermediate to advanced programming.
- In-depth knowledge of Solvency Capital Requirement (SCR) components as outlined in the Prudential Standards (experience with cell captives is a plus).
- Familiarity with non-life insurance processes (advantageous).
- Understanding of key legislation, including the Insurance Act, Prudential Standards, IFRS 4, and IFRS 17.
- Advanced skills in applying triangulation methods and large-loss reserving techniques for IBNR (Incurred But Not Reported) valuations.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science or a related field.
- Completion of at least six CT actuarial exams (or equivalent certifications).
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in an actuarial role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct monthly capital adequacy calculations for the organization and its clients.
- Contribute to IFRS 17 modeling, focusing on the LRC (Liability for Remaining Coverage) and LIC (Liability for Incurred Claims).
- Lead and support capital projection activities as part of the ORSA (Own Risk and Solvency Assessment) process.
- Drive initiatives aimed at optimizing capital strategies for the company and its clients.
- Oversee the preparation and submission of quarterly and annual regulatory reports.
