About the job IT Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for user management and administration of our tools, licences etc.
  • Manage and Support Google Workspace, AWS IAM, Google Cloud access and Jira Cloud.
  • You will be responsible for network administration and monitoring at our offices.
  • Support multiple legal entities
  • You are responsible for internal system audits & compliance management on systems.
  • You are responsible for domain management and require an understanding of how DNS works.
  • You will support us with inventory management of hardware and software.
  • You will troubleshoot & resolve software incidents & diagnose hardware related issues.
  • You will support users with all IT-related queries as a first line support.
  • You will do research and implement hardware or software solutions as required.
  • Documenting processes, as well as assisting with backing and restoring data.
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT administration with the tools that are used.

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree in information technology or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in support/helpdesk administration
  • Understand fundamentals of networking
  • Good understanding of Domains and DNS
  • Experience with Gsuite, macOS, Linux, JIRA, Slack, networking or similar technologies
  • Appropriate certifications such as A+, N+ or MCP
  • A passion for technology
  • Self motivated
  • Good analytical skills and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible working hours. *** Due to the nature of the role and your responsibilities, you will be required to come into the Cape Town office.**
