Dev Ops - 2 Month Contract

Qualifications

• 4 years coding in either Python, Typescript, or Golang
• 5 years scripting experience in Bash or PowerShell
• 8 years of networking experience (security, DNS, VPN, Cloud, load balancing)
• 5+ years of systems administration experience with at least one operating system (Linux or Windows)
• 5 years' experience with AWS
• Deployments using Terraform
• API Gateway configurations
• AWS Security and IAM experience (preferred - certification)
• Kafka deployment experience
• AWS CloudWatch setup experience in ongoing monitoring of services

Key Responsibilities

• Continuously tested & delivered Infrastructure, Pipeline, and Policy as Code
• Extensible automation & dependency management code frameworks
• Development of event-driven functions, APIs, backend services, Command Language Interfaces, and Self-Service Developer Portals
• 8 years of CI/CD experience
• 5 years of serverless or container-based architecture experience
• 5 years of Infrastructure as Code (IAC) experience
• Contribute to cloud and application orchestration code and actively involved in peer reviews
• Can deploy and manage the common tools we use (Jenkins, monitoring, logging, SCM, etc.) from code
• Advanced networking (tcpdump, network flow security analysis, can collect and understand metrics between microservices)
• Experience with advanced authentication technologies (federated auth, SSO)
• Fluent in Agile practices
