Requirements:
- 47 years of experience.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Additional trial or arbitration experience is desirable.
Responsibilities:
- Handle employment litigation cases.
- Participate in trial or arbitration proceedings (experience or strong desire preferred).
- Manage cases involving:
- Discrimination claims.
- Harassment claims.
- Retaliation claims.
- FLSA and wage and hour claims.
- Wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits.
- Conduct legal research.
- Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Manage discovery-related activities.
- Draft EEOC position statements and DFEH responses.
- Conduct witness interviews and depositions.
