Requirements:

  • Strong legal research and writing skills.
  • Additional trial or arbitration experience is desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Handle employment litigation cases.
  • Participate in trial or arbitration proceedings (experience or strong desire preferred).
  • Manage cases involving:
    • Discrimination claims.
    • Harassment claims.
    • Retaliation claims.
    • FLSA and wage and hour claims.
    • Wage and hour class and collective action lawsuits.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and legal memoranda.
  • Take and defend depositions.
  • Manage discovery-related activities.
  • Draft EEOC position statements and DFEH responses.
  • Conduct witness interviews and depositions.
