UPS Field Service Engineer

Job purpose: 

Field Service Engineer will be responsible for UPS Field Services, installations, repairs, commissioning's and battery installations 

Minimum requirements: 

• Matric 
• National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or higher) 
• Minimum of 5 years experience with UPS
• Data Centre Operation experience 
• AC and DC knowledge 
• Electrical distribution system knowledge 
• Advanced Computer Skills (Configuration, Settings, IP Addresses etc.) 
• Must have a valid Drivers License / Passport 
• Be prepared to travel nationally and cross-border 
• Must be COVID19 vaccinated 

Job responsibilities: 

• AC and DC installation 
• Fault finding and repair of UPS Systems internally and in the field 
• Battery replacement 
• Site survey and electrical environment analysis 
• Diagnostic of MCC's, VSD's, Power Distribution (1st Level) 
• Compile site analysis report 
• Build customer relationships 
• Promote / Sell the services offerings 
• Prepare monthly report related to service activity 
• Participate in stand by service 
• Travelling national and aboard
