Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing Management or Logistics Management.
  • 0-1-year experience.
  • Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in the Purchasing Department.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and proactive approach to tasks.
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Computer literacy.
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Organizational and time management skills.
  • Always maintain confidentiality of company or suppliers' RFQ.

Responsibilities:

  • Vendor management: maintain and update vendor documents on the system.
  • Vendor onboarding: manage the onboarding process for new vendors.
  • RFQ management: prepare and launch RFQ in alignment with stakeholders.
  • Contract management: update all contracts in the system with an expiry date.
  • Stakeholder communication: Liaise between suppliers, internal department, and customers to ensure effective communication.
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Identify potential suppliers, build relationships with existing suppliers, update supplier base records.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as creating purchase orders.
  • Participate in cost savings actions.
