Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management or Purchasing Management or Logistics Management.
- 0-1-year experience.
- Strong desire and motivation to develop a career in the Purchasing Department.
- Enthusiasm to learn and proactive approach to tasks.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Computer literacy.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Always maintain confidentiality of company or suppliers' RFQ.
Responsibilities:
- Vendor management: maintain and update vendor documents on the system.
- Vendor onboarding: manage the onboarding process for new vendors.
- RFQ management: prepare and launch RFQ in alignment with stakeholders.
- Contract management: update all contracts in the system with an expiry date.
- Stakeholder communication: Liaise between suppliers, internal department, and customers to ensure effective communication.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Identify potential suppliers, build relationships with existing suppliers, update supplier base records.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as creating purchase orders.
- Participate in cost savings actions.
