Responsibilities:
- Identify, elicit and document project/process requirements using appropriate modeling technique if required
- Analyze requirements and validate with original users, eliminating confusion
- Define the testing scripts and verification criteria to ensure requirements are met
- Maintain documentation and traceability throughout project
- Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends
- Provide information and comments on suitability during approval process for database specifications to ensure all agreed standards and protocols are followed and data integrity is preserved
- Support and contribute to the documentation of "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required
- Support collection of business requirements using a variety of methods such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis to express requirements clearly and succinctly
- Contribute to and support feasibility studies from a technological and organizational perspective, and document findings.
- Explore and develop a basic understanding of external developments or emerging issues and contribute to the evaluation of their potential impact on, or usefulness to, the organization
- Identify solution recommendations to business problems when given fairly well understood business needs at a business unit level
- Carry out feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to contribute to the development and continuous review of business cases
- Contribute to development of existing and new applications by analyzing and identifying areas for modification and improvement
- Contribute to development of new applications to meet customer requirements
- Create and maintain technical and/or user documentation to a high standard and back up files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur
- Support a culture of innovation by contributing to solutions that boost creativity, innovation, and collaboration, such as idea generation platforms, jam sessions, and hackathons
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential
