Hybrid position

Minimum requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of cloud security, Azure or AWS
  • Devops CI / CD pipeline implementation and background
  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code related to Terraform deployments
  • Automation focus and process simplification
  • Basic knowledge of ISO27001 and PCI DSS 3.2 frameworks related to Network Security
  • Kubernetes and container knowledge from Infrastructure Security support perspective

Responsibilities:

  • Complete customer calls in a timely fashion
  • Actively assist in resolving all customer queries or support incident originating from e-mail or otherwise.
  • Assist team members with customer calls or queries.
  • Friendly mannerisms and good communication skills towards customers when dealing face-to-face or over remote chosen company communication channels
  • Makes clients and their needs a primary focus of one's actions and attention, while developing / maintaining productive client relationships.
  • Actively seeks to understand client circumstances, problems, expectations and needs, while resolving problems quickly.
  • Monitor and answer technical questions addressed to the security team
  • Implemented improved IT processes that have a positive effect on the team's performance or company's bottom line.
  • Has a long-term focus and does not wait until having to respond to a demand
  • Problems and opportunities are anticipated and dealt with immediately
  • Takes an active involvement in problem resolution and where necessary works after hours to ensure that issues are resolved
  • Shows foresight to prevent errors or delays in projects
  • Administered and Configured Firewall (Checkpoint Vendor preferred)
  • Performs production system configuration changes within the project deadline
  • Upgrades both the operating system and the software component of the firewall and ensures minimum downtime within project deadline
  • Performs setups for both client and business-to-business Virtual Private Networks, and ensures minimum downtime
  • Sets up user authenticated access through the firewall according to support center requests
  • Grants and removes access through the firewall according to support center requests
  • Responds promptly to alerts and incidents to maintain security
  • Understands Incident response and escalation chain
  • Understands basic security principles and enforces them when a user requests non-security standard access
  • Keeps up to date with the latest security trends and technologies
  • Completes all project work on time/ as per agreed schedule and communicates progress with all parties concerned
  • Takes on additional, unplanned projects or tasks as required by the business and works after hours where necessary
