Civil Engineer - Water and Sanitation
Key Responsibilities:

Manage the water and sanitation sub-division.

Design bulk and distribution water and sanitation systems, including treatment works, storage, pumping stations, conveyance infrastructure, and demand modelling.

Prepare engineering drawings for water and sanitation infrastructure, including wayleave applications, drawing registers, print packages, and council submission drawings.

Produce design reports in accordance with each ECSA project stage.

Prepare tender documentation and adjudication reports for water and sanitation projects.

Conduct site visits and compile drawing registers.

Demonstrate proficiency in relevant software such as Civil Designer, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD.

Provide support in general project administration and coordination.

Apply knowledge of construction contracts, including GCC, JBCC, NEC, and FIDIC.

Maintain project documentation and issue control records.

Develop and maintain quality management systems (QMS) for water and sanitation design.
-
Manage and support team members within the sub-division, including performance monitoring and capacity development.
Experience:
- Experience on water & sanitation engineering projects with at least 5-10 years post ECSA registration experience.
- Travel varies but it will be extensive now because of a number of projects the client are involved in.
