About the job Junior Cloud Architect
Responsibilities:
- Creating a well-informed cloud strategy and managing the adaptation process.
- Helping grow our cloud capabilities by strategising, defining, architecting, and leading modern cloud solutions
- Evaluating cloud applications virtual infrastructure and software
- Developing and organising cloud systems
- Working closely with the Tech team to monitor the company's cloud privacy
- Offering guidance in infrastructure movement techniques, including bulk application transfers into the cloud
- Identifying the top cloud architecture solutions to successfully meet the strategic needs of the company
- Creating roadmaps based on the clouds capacity, efficiency, and ecosystem security
- Creating diagrams, domain models, and other types of software artifacts to decode a particular problem
- Monitoring cloud activity, designing and migrating applications, planning courses of action, and defining computer loads
- Defines technical direction and roadmap for Cloud migrations and managing the implementation and technical solutions
- Develop and coordinate cloud architecture across diverse areas, including application development, identity and access management, network and data management, and security
- Develop architectural artifacts to lead the delivery of a successful implementation
- Responding to technical issues in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or relevant field
- 3+ years of experience designing, executing and supporting IT cloud solutions.
- Previous experience working with IT security administrators and other members of the IT team to integrate the correct security, software, and data into the cloud system
- Experience in computer security, such as firewalls
- Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and current computing trends
- Effective communication skills (written and verbal) to properly articulate detailed cloud reports to management and other IT development partners
- Lots of experience in computer scripting languages like Python, Ruby, and Elixir
- Expertise in at least one operating system: Linux, Unix, Solaris, Windows
- Proficiency in networking: TCP/IP, IP addresses, HTTP, DNS
