About the job Payroll Administrator

Job purpose: 

Administer the payroll function to ensure that all aspects of the payroll cycle or employees, systems and benefits administration are processed in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with Company Policy, Corporate Governance and Statutory Legislation.

Minimum requirements: 

  • Matric 
  • Payroll Qualification (Would be an advantage) 
  • Minimum of 5 years experience with Payroll and Benefits Administration 
  • Advanced User Experience of PaySpace System (Will be an advantage) 
  • Ability to interact with Senior Management levels 
  • Mandatory Vaccination Policy - Proof of vaccination required


Key Accountabilities: 

  • Coordinate payroll audit 
  • System administration 
  • Payroll reporting 
  • Leave administration 
  • Statutory and new acquisitions 
  • Checking of monthly payroll processing 
  • Support internal customers 
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of information
