Tax and Compliance Manager: Africa

Minimum requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Business Law or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years experience in Tax Compliance and Finance within the freight forwarding/transport industry.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly tax reports ensuring accuracy of contributions.
• Review and audit tax obligations and liaise with local authorities.
• Prepare analysis for the CFO and work closely with the Tax Director flagging and resolving issues when they arise.
• Ensure invoice compliance in accordance to local legislation (African countries).
• Ensure the accuracy of taxes and fees.
• Align compliance with local regulations.
• Develop relationships with key stakeholders.
