Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Proven sales experience in the media & eventing industry with a demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- An extensive network of contacts within the media and eventing sectors.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong presentation abilities, capable of showcasing our spaces in a compelling manner.
- Organized and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with current trends and best practices in media and event space utilization and advertising.
Responsibilities:
- The selected candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with clients, identifying potential opportunities, and driving revenue growth in our diverse portfolio of spaces.
- This role requires a sales professional with a proven track record in the media industry.
- It is important that the candidate has an extensive network and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.
- Identify and target potential clients and companies to generate new business opportunities.
- Establish and nurture a strong network within the media and events sectors.
- Actively seek out new partnerships and collaboration opportunities to expand our client base.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by proactively promoting and selling our media and event spaces.
- Conduct persuasive sales presentations to showcase the unique value proposition of our spaces.
- Negotiate and close deals while ensuring the satisfaction of both parties involved.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
- Act as a point of contact for client inquiries, addressing their needs and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive offerings, and market demands to position our spaces competitively.
- Analyse data and sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and strategize on maximizing sales potential.
