Qualifications

Degree or Diploma in Information Technology or Computer Science

Network skills (N+ Certificate)

AWS and Azure certification (advantageous)

ITIL foundation certification (advantageous)
Experience
-
Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in IT
-
Working knowledge of IT Service Desk ticketing systems
-
Basic administration of Microsoft Identity Manager (MIM)
-
Basic administration and skills in Microsoft operating systems and Office 365
-
Working knowledge of desktop imaging and deployment
-
Proficient in PC hardware, software, and printer troubleshooting
Responsibilities
- Contribute to designing and planning the transition in hardware and software infrastructure (if part of the BUILD domain)
- Provide IT support for users through the Service Desk (if part of the RUN domain)
- Ensure continuity of service (if part of the RUN domain) for Operations, including hardware and software infrastructure, on a day-to-day basis:
-
Network / Telecommunications: Cabling, Switches, Optimizers, Routers, Firewall, Proxy, SSL VPN gateways, WAN, WiFi, Video-Conferencing systems, and other equipment (UPS, AirCon, Genset, IoT, etc.)

Systems: Servers (Windows/Linux or iSeries), data backup systems, business applications, communication and collaborative tools

End users: PCs, Thin Clients, Smartphones/Tablets, Printers, Satellite phones, Scanner guns, Headsets
- Ensure ITIL MIS support processes: single point of contact for helpdesk, ITSM ticketing, troubleshooting, log analysis, reporting, Centreon monitoring

Manage IT hardware resources (inventory)

Implement and act on plans, organizational tasks, and activities assigned to the RUN and/or BUILD teams
-
Uphold The Companys group norms and policy compliance: Use only business applications/MIS services aligned with The Company IT catalogue

Apply The Companys security and licensing policies
-
Carry out other delegated tasks as assigned by the reporting manager, within skill set and experience
-
Occasional travel to The Company sites for IT projects, implementation, or training
-
Engage in systems administration including:
-
General computer support
-
Software installations and upgrades
-
Network and printer support
-
Deployment of equipment
-
Inventory management
-
-
Participate in rotational after-hours and onsite support (The Company operates 24/7 with various WMS and TMS systems)
-
Create and manage specific project plan activities in collaboration with:
-
Business stakeholders
-
IT Service Desk & Operations Manager
-
Cluster MIS Manager
-
IT Infrastructure Engineer
-
-
Coordinate documentation, testing, and training efforts related to project plans
-
Continuously evaluate and adjust within project timelines to mitigate risks to project success
-
Ensure project prioritization and sequencing based on business needs and operational demands
-
Participate in monthly project meetings to:
-
Review key activities undertaken
-
Discuss implementation challenges
-
Plan key activities for the upcoming month with the MIS Manager
-

Ensure compliance with current responsibilities and legal requirements related to Quality, Health, and Safety standards
-
Report hazards, incidents, and injuries in line with legislation and The Companys reporting procedures
-
Participate in programs and assessments to improve the IMS system in the workplace
