Cloud Engineer

Key purpose:

As a Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining Containerized Solutions. You'll ensure that the company's applications are running on platforms such as Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes or Microsoft Azure/AWS/VMware. You should also have experience with AWS and MS-SQL Server. In this role you will be working closely with the Product Development team to help develop software solutions for customers.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Maintaining and implementing Containerized Solutions (Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes)
• Cloud deployments and Maintenance(Microsoft Azure/AWS/VMware)
• Understanding of IAAS, PAAS, SAAS models
• Maintaining and implementing Containerized Solutions (Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes)
• Operating systems: Working with Linux and Windows
• Office 365 Suite (Exchange ,Defender , Teams , Compliance , Endpoint manager)
• Cognisant of Security Implications and Monitoring
• Experience with Azure/AWS MS-SQL Server, Monitoring solutions

Qualifications and experience:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field required
• 5 years experience minimum
• Design and document software solutions architecture
• Manage the operations of the service offering i.e. monitor, respond and maintain Implement software solutions
• Planning and estimation of designs
