Minimum requirements:

  • 4+ years of sales experience (experience in software or technology an advantage)
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding targets
  • Proven track record in new business development a must
  • Experience in selling to wholesalers, manufacturers and/ or wholesalers
  • Good listener who is able to partner with prospects to understand challenges and present solutions
  • Experience in presenting solutions to prospects
  • Experience selling to manufacturers/ wholesalers/ distributors
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient with sales technology tools including CRM (Salesforce.com is advantageous), sales engagement platforms and Microsoft Office
  • Good business acumen
  • Entrepreneurial spirit

Responsibilities:

  • Unearthing new sales opportunities and leads through networking and cold calling
  • Effectively engage with new prospects and win deals by using a consultative, business value-orientated approach that resonates with decision-makers
  • Seek first to understand, ask probing questions and look for areas where the company can add and create value for the prospect
  • Create detailed business plans to reach predetermined goals and quotas
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
  • Partner with SDRs and Marketing to develop go-to-market strategies
  • Update and maintain prospect information and sales activities on the company's choice of CRM systems
