Minimum Requirements

Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field.

4-5 years experience in HR, including labour relations.

Solid understanding of HR planning, policy development, and HR administration.

Knowledge of South African labour law, payroll, and HR systems.

Experience in performance management, talent management, and learning & development.
-
Competence in statistical analysis, reporting, and performance evaluation.
-
Familiarity with PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and EE legislation.
-
Strong computer literacy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities

Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to management and staff.

Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies.

Oversee all HR administration, including recruitment, payroll, leave, and reporting.

Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts.

Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
-
Implement and manage wellness programmes, EE plans, and change initiatives.
-
Facilitate performance management systems and conduct performance reviews.
-
Drive HR service delivery improvements and system automation.
-
Conduct culture and engagement surveys, and develop action plans.
-
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, audits, and best practices.

Oversee benefits and compensation administration.

Advise line managers on all HR and organisational development matters.

Lead and manage the HR team to deliver high-quality, responsive services.
