HR Manager

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 4-5 years experience in HR, including labour relations.
  • Solid understanding of HR planning, policy development, and HR administration.
  • Knowledge of South African labour law, payroll, and HR systems.
  • Experience in performance management, talent management, and learning & development.
  • Competence in statistical analysis, reporting, and performance evaluation.
  • Familiarity with PFMA, National Treasury Regulations, and EE legislation.
  • Strong computer literacy, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic HR leadership and guidance to management and staff.
  • Develop, review, and implement HR policies, procedures, and strategies.
  • Oversee all HR administration, including recruitment, payroll, leave, and reporting.
  • Lead talent acquisition, retention, and succession planning efforts.
  • Manage employee relations, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Implement and manage wellness programmes, EE plans, and change initiatives.
  • Facilitate performance management systems and conduct performance reviews.
  • Drive HR service delivery improvements and system automation.
  • Conduct culture and engagement surveys, and develop action plans.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, audits, and best practices.
  • Oversee benefits and compensation administration.
  • Advise line managers on all HR and organisational development matters.
  • Lead and manage the HR team to deliver high-quality, responsive services.
