Qualifications:

- Higher Certificate / NQF5 - Construction Management/Engineering
- Matric / NQF4
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily site activities and operations to ensure the project is progressing as planned.
- Monitor and manage the performance of on-site staff and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to project plans and specifications.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards and quality control are maintained.
- Liaise with the Project Coordinators, Technical Teams, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
- Coordinate the delivery of materials and equipment to the site, ensuring that they are available when needed to avoid delays.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on-site, escalating to the Project Team Leader as necessary.
- Enforce adherence to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe work environment for all site personnel.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and training sessions to promote a culture of safety on-site.
- Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with local and company regulations.
- Ensure that all work meets the required standards of quality as per the project specifications.
- Conduct inspections and tests to verify the quality of work and materials used.
- Document and report any deviations from the project plan or quality standards to the Project Coordinator.
- Maintain accurate records of daily site activities, including progress reports, work logs, and incident reports.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on site progress, challenges, and any deviations from the project plan.
- Assist the Project Coordinator in preparing and reviewing project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and work plans.
- Flexibility to work overtime or weekends as required by the project schedule.
- Travel may be required depending on the location of the project site.
