Commercial Manager
Job Function:
Strategic Leadership

Lead the commercial strategy for The Companys operations in Zimbabwe, aligning with overall business objectives.

Develop and implement commercial plans to drive market expansion and revenue growth.
Business Development

Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments to increase market share.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and business partners.

Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to anticipate challenges and opportunities.
Sales and Marketing

Oversee and optimize the sales and marketing functions to achieve revenue targets.

Develop pricing strategies and promotional campaigns aligned with market demand and business goals.

Ensure effective sales channels and distribution networks are in place and functioning efficiently.
Financial Management

Collaborate with the finance team to ensure the commercial department operates within budget.

Monitor and report on financial performance, implementing corrective actions as needed to achieve profitability.
Team Leadership & Development

Manage and mentor the commercial team, setting clear objectives and performance targets.

Conduct training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and productivity.

Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team.
Customer Experience & Satisfaction

Ensure The Company delivers exceptional customer service and satisfaction across all touchpoints.

Address customer issues and complaints promptly and professionally.

Regularly review customer feedback and use insights to improve services and products.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

Ensure all commercial activities comply with local laws, regulations, and company policies.

Identify and manage risks related to business operations, including market, legal, and financial risks.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:

Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field (MBA preferred).

Proven leadership, negotiation, and communication capabilities.

Experience in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility.

Demonstrated success in driving business growth and meeting/exceeding sales targets.
-
In-depth knowledge of the Zimbabwean market and business landscape.
-
Strong ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
