Store Assistant

Job purpose: 

Responsible for keeping the shelves stocked. Checking of all incoming stock. Ensuring a neat and tidy operation at all times with shelves fully stocked. Ensuring proper stock rotation and addressing slow moving / redundant stock with a sense of urgency. Assisting the Store Manager with daily, weekly and monthly sales. Identifying and communicating of new business ideas. Providing a high level of customer care... always. Assisting with quarterly stock takes. 

Minimum requirements: 

• Matric 
• Fluent in English, Afrikaans and Zulu 
• Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience as a Store Assistant 
• Retail / FMCG / Store experience
