About the job HR Manager

Job purpose: 

Manage and oversee the HR Department.  Monitoring onboarding procedures for new employees, managing time-off requests, handling employee conflict, and ensure that the company complies with all the relevant workplace regulations and laws. Develop employee policies that cultivate a positive work environment and train staff on how to incorporate these policies into their daily tasks. 

Minimum requirements: 

  • Bachelor Degree in HRM or similar 
  • At least 5 years experience as a Human Resources Manager
  • 5 years strong IR experience which must include experience in a unionized environment 
  • Strong leadership / management skills
